Day 1 - Be Ready In The Morning

Exodus 33:9, 11, 14 ... and the LORD talked with Moses... So the LORD spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend...My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.

Day 2 - Wherever

Joshua 1:7 ...do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 ...Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:16 ...All that you command us we will do, and wherever you send us we will go.

Day 3 - Take No Thought

Matthew 6:25 (KJV) Therefore I say unto you, take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Matthew 10:19 (KJV) But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.

Day 4 - The Inner Man

Ephesians 3:16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man. 2 Corinthians 4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Eve

Day 5 - Not Knowing What To Do

2 Chronicles 20:12 O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You. 2 Chronicles 20:17 You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the LORD, who is with you...

Day 6 - Self Works Versus Spiritual Works

Galatians 6:4 But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. Philippians 2:13 ...for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. Colossians 1:29 To this end I also labour, striving according to His working which works in me mightily.

Day 7 - The Countenance Of Contentment

Philippians 4:11 ...I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content. Philippians 4:18 Indeed I have all and abound. I am full... 2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

Day 8 - Only Jesus

Matthew 6:21-22 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also...If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. Matthew 6:24 No one can serve two masters...You cannot serve God and mammon. Matthew 17:8 When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.

Day 9 - Now All Or Give All

1 Chronicles 21:2 So David said to Joab and to the leaders of the people, “Go, number Israel from Beersheba to Dan, and bring the number of them to me that I may know it.” 1 Chronicles 21:23 But Ornan said to David, “Take it to yourself, and let my lord the king do what is good in his eyes. Look, I also give you the oxen for burnt offerings, the threshing implements for wood, and the wheat for the grain offering; I give it all.”

Day 10 - When You Pray

Luke 11:1-2 ...Lord, teach us to pray...When you pray... John 15:7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. Matthew 6:7 And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.

Day 11 - Measuring By Comparing

2 Corinthians 10:12 For we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

Day 12 - Forgetting Former Things

Isaiah 43:18-19 Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth... Philippians 3:13 ...but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead...

Day 13 - Heart Failure

Psalms 40:12 For innumerable evils have surrounded me; my iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of my head; therefore my heart fails me. Psalms 73:26 My flesh and my heart fail; but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Day 14 - What Do We Do About Sin

Ephesians 4:26 and Psalms 4:4 Be angry, and do not sin... Galatians 6:1-2 Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

Day 15 - Forgiveness And Mercy

Luke 6:36-37 Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful...Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

Day 16 - Shut In

Genesis 7:16 ...and the LORD shut him in. Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth... Hebrews 6:18-19 ... we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us. This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast.

Day 17 - Call

Jeremiah 45:5 And do you seek great things for yourself? Do not seek them. 2 Timothy 1:9 Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began

Day 18 - The Testing Of Your Faith

James 1:2-4 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. 1 Peter 1:6-7 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honour, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Day 19 - Show Himself Strong

2 Chronicles 15:7 But you, be strong and do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded! 2 Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him...

Day 20 - A Continual Resort

Psalms 71:3 Be my strong refuge, to which I may resort continually... Colossians 3:3-4 ...your life is hidden with Christ in God... Christ who is our life...

Day 21 - The Christians Choice

Philippians 2:13 ...for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. Ephesians 5:17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

Day 22 - The Heart Of Man

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? Ezekiel 36:26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

Day 23 - Each Ones Work

1 Corinthians 3:13 each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

Day 24 - The Deadline Disease

Proverbs 13:19 A desire accomplished is sweet to the soul... Ecclesiastes 9:10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might... Mark 7:37 And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well...”

Day 25 - Pleasing Or Denying Yourself

Romans 15:1-3 We then who are strong ought to bear with the scruples of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbour for his good, leading to edification. For even Christ did not please Himself... Matthew 16:24 ...If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.

Day 26 - Abram And Lot

Genesis 12:4 So Abram departed as the LORD had spoken to him, and Lot went with him... Genesis 13:8-9 So Abram said to Lot, “Please let there be no strife between you and me, and between my herdsmen and your herdsmen; for we are brethren...Please separate from me. If you take the left, then I will go to the right; or, if you go to the right, then I will go to the left.”

Day 27 - Three Things

Philippians 2:4 (KJV) Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Philippians 2:21 (KJV) For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ’s.

Day 28 - The Blessedness Of Brokenness

Psalms 34:18 The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.

Day 29 - Faltering Faith

Luke 22:32 But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren. Mark 11:22 ...Have faith in God. Romans 14:23 ...for whatever is not from faith is sin. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him...

Day 30 - God Expectations

Psalms 62:5 My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him. Psalms 131:1 LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty. Neither do I concern myself with great matters, nor with things too profound for me.

Day 31 - Still Waters

Psalms 23:2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. Mark 4:39 ...“Peace, be still!”
